This banner I use on the main entrance gate to the pool. If the gate is open I attach it to the gate itself, if closed use the fence just to the right of the gate (the section of fence the gate would cover if it was open). 
 
This is a great opportunity to advertise the event activities. I also hang one of these outside the office to the left on the concrete block wall so that people entering the resort can read what's going on as they arrive. 
 
Banner is hemmed around the edges with grommets every two feet.
